Turin, the amazing city
Turin
Framed between the hill that laps the city and the Alps skyline, Turin is a city rich in history, from antiquity with its Roman remains to the rich Baroque churches, from the elegance of the nineteenth-century palaces to the splendours of Liberty, up to contemporary architecture.
It surprises visitors for all this: it is a unique city for the atmosphere that recalls its royal past and at the same time for its livability and varied cultural offerings. Churches, first-rate museums, such as the Egyptian Museum or the National Cinema Museum – just to name a few, kilometers of arcaded streets, majestic squares, large parks welcome tourists and visitors.
Let’s not forget the exceptional gastronomic tradition that you will get to know up close!
Turin is the city of records! Between these:

- here the first cinematographic projection was held in Italy
- it has the largest open-air market in Europe: Porta Palazzo
- here instant coffee was born, in 1884, following the invention of the machine to produce it
- the Egyptian Museum is the most important in the world, outside of Egypt
- The Mole Antonelliana was the tallest building in Europe until 1889
